The foundry produces bronze propellers for naval vessels inside a 2,300-square-metre shed in Samut Prakan.

Angled walls, louvres and north-facing openings bring in diffuse light. Rooflights reduce artificial lighting and the roof helps hot air escape.

Sheet-metal cladding responds to wide spans, rapid assembly and low weight, while insulation, noise, corrosion and maintenance remain essential.

The project shows how a factory improves when section, orientation and process are designed together.
