Quetzal House began with a 105-square-metre home that needed to work better, not necessarily become larger.

Sertão Arquitetos reorganised circulation, opened relationships between rooms and strengthened the connection with the courtyard. The space feels larger because interruptions disappear and daylight travels farther.
